Mark Linder

Mark W. Linder PhD, DABCC, FACB is Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Linder is co-founder and Vice President of Operations for PGXL Laboratories. Dr. Linder is also the Assistant Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology for the University of Louisville Hospital.

Dr. Linder received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and completed postdoctoral training in Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is an internationally recognized thought leader in the field of clinical pharmacogenetics and has published over 90 papers, book chapters and abstracts. In addition to his clinical service, Dr. Linder maintains active basic research with grant support from the National Institutes of Health and from private organizations in the diagnostic industry.

Dr. Linder's mission is to advance the practice of clinical toxicology to better serve physicians and patients. He is also engaged in fostering the application of pharmacogenomic information to clinical therapeutics and toxicology.
