Dr. Linder is Associate Professor of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Louisville. He serves as Assistant Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology at the University of Louisville Hospital. As the Associate Director of PGXL Laboratories, he oversees clinical studies conducted by the PGXL Laboratories and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the lab. He is point of contact for inquiries about the applicability of PGXL Laboratories testing to different medications.
Dr. Linder received his PhD degree in Biochemistry at the University of Louisville (1992) and completed postdoctoral fellowships in Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Toxicology, also at the U of L. He joined the faculty in the Department of Pathology in 1999.
Dr. Linder is a Fellow of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry and serves on a number of committees for the American Association for Clinical Chemistry. His scientific interests include mechanisms for regulation of drug metabolism and bringing the science of both pharmacogenetics and proteomics into clinical laboratory practice.
