No project is too small or too large, and due to our customized services, we are able to assist researchers and organizations with basic and clinical research studies.
- IRB acquisition. PGXL provides application and protocol writing services for independent review board (IRB) approval of the studies. This may include informed consent forms, HIPAA forms, waivers, and other relevant applications.
- Study Design and Protocol Development. The years of experience in conducting trials for the in vitro diagnostics industry, makes PGXL a truly unique service laboratory. PGXL is the right choice when wanting to meet the trial needs of contract research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and device manufacturers. PGXL understands that the needs of our clients vary based on the study, and the organizational size and depth. We have made it possible to incorporate our services at various levels, from complete study design and implementation, to validations.
- Customized Assay Development. PGXL is committed to being the exclusive provider of pharmacogenetic testing for our clients. Our test panel continues to expand to meet these demands. - Sample Logistics. Depending on the needs of the study, PGXL has the ability to provide both real-time or batched sample processing and analysis. Acceptable specimen types for genotyping include whole blood, and buccal swabs. PGXL understands the limitations that whole blood sampling can place on clinical studies. That is why the option of a non-invasive specimen has been invaluable for our clients, particularly for studies involving children. - Report Preparations and Result Interpretation Services. PGXL provides data analysis and reporting services for the studies it conducts. The reporting can be delivered as raw data, or the reporting can be analyzed and reduced into information containing final conclusions and recommendations. Individualized reports can be tailored to each study participant if requested. PGXL prides itself on superior service, so interpretive guidance is also given if needed. In addition, select studies can be published in medical literature by the PGXL scientists, with the consent of the study sponsor.
